Hi, I’m Kayla! An Austin-based documentary and editorial wedding photographer — mixing modern and analog photography to tell the story of your day with empathy, curiosity, and a hint of nostalgia.

I value my connection with my clients, and I hope my couples feel celebrated, supported, and completely comfortable with me on their wedding day. Trust and connection are essential to creating the most authentic and timeless photographs.

Originally from Key West, FL, I grew up surrounded by beautiful scenery and a creative community, which inspired me to explore different art mediums at a young age. Whenever I was asked, “What do you want to be when you grow up?” my answer was always “an artist.” My passion for the arts led me to Florida State University, where I received a BFA in Studio Art, focusing on Graphic Design and Photography.

My background in design influences how I capture moments and edit my work. I am always searching for interesting compositions, and I believe the colors in your photos should be true-to-life and timeless.

I am honored to be a member of The Friend Club and to have my work showcased in The Wed, Magnolia Rouge, Anti-Bride, Green Wedding Shoes, Style Me Pretty, The Knot Texas, Brides of Austin, Wedding Chicks, Adorn Magazine, Aisle Society, and 100 Layer Cake.

FAMILY HEIRLOOMS

I've always loved flipping through my parents' old photos and hearing stories of their adventures together (yes, they rocked matching floral outfits that my grandma made for their wedding). Photography is such a wonderful way to share those priceless glimpses into the past. My goal is to tell your story in the most authentic and timeless way, creating a photo legacy that will be treasured for generations.
